Welcome to the Brickyard Collegiate
MACON, Ga. – In cooperation with The Brickyard at Riverside, Mercer University will host the 2nd Annual Brickyard Collegiate Golf Championship October 10-13 at The Brickyard at Riverside.
It will be the largest event of its kind held at The Brickyard at Riverside, which re-opened on June 27, 2005. Mark McCumber re-designed the course, which now features a par-72, 7,128-yard layout. In 2007, Golf Digest ranked the course No. 12 in the state of Georgia.
The tournament opens Saturday with a practice round. The competition will begin Sunday morning and conclude Tuesday afternoon.
A total of 15 teams will participate in the 54-hole tournament, Augusta State, Clemson, Charlotte, Duke, Florida State, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Hartford, Kennesaw State, Mercer, Oregon, Penn State, UT Chattanooga, Virginia Tech, and Wake Forest.
The tournament is open to the public. Admission is Free!
