Welcome to The Brickyard Collegiate Championship
In cooperation with The Brickyard at Riverside, Mercer University will host the 4th Annual Brickyard Collegiate Golf Championship October 7-10, 2010 at The Brickyard at Riverside. The practice round will be played on Thursday, October 7th, and the competition will begin Friday, October 8th, and conclude on Sunday, October 10th. The 2010 field will be announced soon.
In last year's edition, Augusta State was declared the team champion after posting a first round 282 (-6) and a second round of 281 (-7) for a total of 563 (-13). The Jaguars dominated the event, beating second place finishers Clemson and Chattanooga by 13 shots, who finished the tournament at even par.
Russell Henley of Georgia took home the individual title after two solid rounds of 69 (-3) and 65 (-7) for a total of 134 (-10). John Tyler Griffin of Georgia Tech was the runner – up at 139 (-5).
